Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Portage, IN

Everything was clean, accessable, and better than the pictures show!! Our room was large, the breakfast was great, the pool area was so nice and extremely clean. We loved the fact that the pool area was open 6 am- 10 pm and that it had a kid pool, large pool and large hot tub. The check out time of 12 pm was so nice and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the good breakfast and one last swim before going home. There are 4 fast food places and 3 sit down restaurants as well as a gas station right beside the hotel which made everything really convenient. We will definitely plan to stay again if we are in the area!

Was anywhere from 10-30min away from different attractions and beaches. Loved the pool area. Main reason we chose hotel for our little ones. Breakfast was good. Waffle makers great.

From the very beginning of my stay -- when I needed help getting the luggage trolley up to my room (thank you, Mel!) -- the people who work at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Portage, Ind., were helpful, professional, friendly, and nice. The room was comfortable (including the pull-out sofa bed) and easy to keep at a temperature that we liked. Very conveniently located for visiting botanical gardens and the dunes and Valparaiso. There were EV chargers (slow charge) at multiple locations in the community, so it was easy to do one last charge with our rental car overnight before we headed home.

The front desk young man, Ross, was EXCEPTIONAL!!! He truly understands what the hospitality business is all about and your company should be very proud of how represents Country Inn & Suites!!!!! Our room was great, the housekeeper was very pleasant when we asked for items, and very quick at getting them. We come here often mainly for the little ones to use the pool. We tried Best Western across the street.. one sentence.. WORST EVER EXPERIENCE . They knew we were there to try the splash pad. We get all settled, with 2 3 yr olds, and then go down to only find out the pool was being worked on and they didn't know for how long. We immediately packed up and came here. We will NEVER go there again. Besides the pool issue, our room was filthy with mud on blankets and pillowcases. Thank you for the awesome hospitality here!! Ross is very sweet, and really knows how to be hospitable. The breakfast was great along with the employee who was work it.

We were traveling with our grandchildren and the one bedroom suite was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was a notch above most other hotels.
